Supporting a Friend :)

Yesterday I stayed with a dear friend who had a baby girl. It was the first time I held a baby girl in the hospital since having my little one. It was healing but at the same time filled with emotion. Life is such a gift and entering the world healthy is truly a wonderful thing. I was unable to be alone with my little one for three months. Yesterday I got to witness something special that happens when a Mom has her baby by her side from day one. I am sad that I did not have that but at the same time so happy that I had the medical help to keep her alive. So...I guess my learning process on this whole thing is...yes I didn't get the first moments in a natural way...but I now have a daughter who is getting stronger and healthier because of an amazing medical team.
